Events Apprenticeship Framework launches to tackle industry’s talent shortage
The UKEVENTS (formerly BVEP) Skills Talent & Diversity Working Group has launched its Events Apprenticeship Framework. Events industry excluded from energy support scheme
Conference and exhibition centres and the wider events industry have been excluded from the Government’s new Energy Bill Relief Scheme. However, historic buildings, museums, zoos, and other similar attractions which are yet to be defined that do hold events will qualify. Read more

The Business of Events: what’s coming in 2023
The Business of Events (TBOE) has published its Stakeholder Briefing for 2023, which outlines its scope of activity, which includes more events, a Policy Unit, and an in-depth content and engagement platform.
