The reception, which was supported by The Business of Events, took place at the Institute of Directors, London, and brought together 50 attendees including British nations, cities, local ambassadors, industry stakeholders and representatives from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.

IBTM World confirmed as latest partner and call for Destination content proposals
As part of the agreement, The Business of Events will take on a key role in coordinating the Destinations stream on the Impact Stage at IBTM World’s Barcelona event, set to take place from 28-30 November 2023. Destinations and Convention Bureaux are actively encouraged to submit their content proposals for consideration on the Impact Stage.

MeetCambridge, which is funded by the city’s colleges, employs six staff and handles more than 3,500 enquiries annually, worth in the region of £20m to its 53 member venues.
